Another model (Chloe Goins) alleges Bill Cosby sexually assaulted her and is now filing a lawsuit.

Yesterday, 24-year-old model Chloe Goins filed a lawsuit against Bill Cosby for punitive damages, including “mental anguish, loss of self-esteem and dignity,” following from a 2008 sexual assault at the Playboy Mansion.

According to the Associated Press, the lawsuit sounds like a familiar story, stating: “Bill Cosby touched an intimate part of Chloe Goins’ body while she was seriously disabled and/or unconscious.”

In addition to Goins’ civil case, Los Angeles investigators are currently in the process of reviewing Goins’ criminal case.

From the Los Angeles Times:

“[Goins] alleges that at a party at the Holmby Hills mansion in 2008, when she was 18, Cosby gave her a drink that caused her to black out. When she awoke, she said, she found herself naked on a bed with Cosby biting her toes and his pants around his ankles, according to her attorney.”

Goins alleges that she confronted Bill Cosby after the assault. But, Cosby’s lawyers have denied any wrongdoing, claiming that the comedian wasn’t even at the party.

Though most of Cosby’s accusers are unable to pursue criminal or civil cases because of the state of limitations, Goins’ case is an exception. The AP reports:

“Goins’ lawsuit does not specify a date when the incident occurred, but states it is being filed under a provision that allows victims of underage sexual abuse to sue for several years after they turn 18. Goins turned 18 in May 2008, which would place the incident several months before August 2008, the date her attorney Spencer Kuvin initially said the incident occurred on.”
