While listening to some of Maroon 5's greatest hits, James Corden's latest segment with Adam Levine was interrupted by the police.
The duo were singing “She Will Be Loved,” when all of a sudden they heard sirens. Corden was caught off guard. “What do the police want?” he said, rolling down the window.
“We're gonna pull you over so he can sing a song,” the sheriff shouted from across the road.
“You want us to pull over so he can sing a song for you?” Corden laughed.
“Yes, because you're causing a traffic hazard,” he added.
The police officer let them go with a warning telling them to “be careful” while singing and driving on the road. Levine was “nonplussed” by the incident, Corden remarked. But the Late Late Show host was “panicked in my core.”
