Casting directors are now casting boys between the ages of 9 to 13 years old to play Boy Scouts n the Todd Haynes movie “Wonderstruck” starring Julianne Moore & Michelle Williams. Fittings will take place on Thursday, June 9th in Lower Manhattan and filming will take place on June 25th. This scene takes place in 1977. must have some length to their hair. Hair should be shaggy and come over the ears or styled in a kinky or curly afro. No crew cuts, shaved heads, etc.
About Wonderstruck:
Wonderstruck centers around two deaf children, Ben and Rose. Ben lives with his family in Minnesota in 1977, and runs off to New York following his mother’s death when a mysterious note shows up. Rose, who is locked in a house in 1927 New Jersey, also escapes to New York to see her idol, film actress Lillian Mayhew.

Fitting: Thurs 6/9 in Lower Manhattan
Works: Sat 6/25
*** THIS IS A NIGHT SHOOT call time will most likely be 5pm-1:30am***
This scene takes place in 1977. must have some length to their hair. Hair should be shaggy and come over the ears or styled in a kinky or curly afro. No crew cuts, shaved heads, etc.
Dyed & highlighted hair is fine but no bright unnatural colors (blue, pink, purple, green, etc).
