WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

From the families that have detached themselves from the grid completely to live in eco-harmony, to those who are mitigating the high price tag of buying organic and eco-conscious products for their children in the city, we aim to explore how modern environmental concerns are impacting the way people raise their children and the planet they want to leave behind for them.

EXAMPLES:

-Parents who are making lifestyle shifts to reduce their families waste; spending more on reusable, organic or eco-friendly products and can speak to the financial adjustments it takes

-Families who live in more eco-friendly homes and are at the more extreme end of a zero-waste lifestyle

-Parents who are trying to get their kids engaged with the environment, whether it’s through nature programs, organized clean ups, or community gardening.

-Parents who are trying to balance their environmental concerns with financial realities and may not be able to justify looking at everything through an eco-friendly lens. They do shop for some organic and reusable products, but also succumb to buying disposable cheap stuff in bulk.

-Parents who don’t buy into the culture of eco-consciousness, and would rather prioritize their spending elsewhere

-Parents who try to educate others on small changes they can make. Host organic product workshops or pop ups, make reusable bags for picking up produce and gives them as gifts to family and friends etc.

***Toronto, Canada Area Only***
