Photo Double for “Cornbread” in “GRILLED CHEESE” Film
Job Overview: We are currently seeking a photo double for the character “Cornbread” in the upcoming film project “GRILLED CHEESE.” This role requires someone who can closely match the physical characteristics and appearance of the principal actor for “Cornbread.” The photo double will be used for various scenes to ensure continuity and assist with complex or time-consuming shots.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the director and cinematographer to execute scenes.
- Stand in for the actor during lighting setups and rehearsals to help establish camera angles and lighting details.
- Participate in some action sequences as required, under the guidance of the stunt or action coordinator.
- Maintain a consistent appearance with the principal actor, including hairstyle, clothing, and makeup.
- Be available and ready to work for the entirety of the scheduled shoot date.
Requirements:
- Height, weight, and general physical appearance must closely resemble the principal actor for “Cornbread.” Specific measurements will be provided upon selection for an interview.
- Ability to follow directions clearly and accurately from the director and crew.
- Previous experience as a photo double or stand-in is preferred but not required.
- Must be local to Thibodaux, LA, or willing to work as a local (no travel or accommodation compensation).
- Availability for the full day of shooting on April 26th is mandatory.
Compensation Details:
- The photo double will be compensated at a rate of $175 for a 12-hour workday.
- Overtime, if necessary, will be compensated additionally.
- Meals and breaks will be provided according to industry standards.
