About ‘The Big Sky':
ABC's Big Sky is a crime drama thriller created by David E. Kelley and is based on The Highway book series by C.J. Box. The series premiered on ABC as a fall entry in 2020-21. In May 2021, the series was renewed for a second season, which later premiered on September 30, 2021.
What is Big Sky about?
“Private detectives Cassie Dewell and Cody Hoyt join forces with his estranged wife and ex-cop, Jenny Hoyt, to search for two sisters who have been kidnapped by a truck driver on a remote highway in Montana. But when they discover that these are not the only girls who have disappeared in the area, they must race against the clock to stop the killer before another woman is taken.”
After the kidnappings, Jenny partners with Cassie to search for the truck driver who escaped, while trying to handle a new mystery. Season two starts with the truck driver still missing, meanwhile, Jenny decides to rejoin the county sheriffs.
