Casting Call: Salsa Dancing Seniors for Film Project
Job Overview: We are seeking seniors with salsa dancing experience to portray dancers in an upcoming film project shooting on May 8th and 9th in Wilmington, NC. This role is perfect for those who are passionate about dance and are looking to participate in a film setting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform background dancing roles requiring salsa techniques.
- Follow the director’s instructions and adapt to changes in choreography.
- Participate in costume fittings and makeup sessions as required.
- Be on set on time and ready to film according to the schedule provided.
Requirements:
- Ages 50 and above.
- Must have experience in salsa dancing.
- Able to work as a local in Wilmington, NC (no travel or accommodation provided).
- Must be available for both filming days without any scheduling conflicts.
- Good physical condition to perform dance moves.
- Comfortable working in a film production environment.
Compensation:
- $123.75 for 10 hours of work per day.
- Time and a half for every hour past the initial 10 hours per day.
- Additional $50 Dance Performance Pay (DPP) bump for those cast in dancing roles.
