Long Slow Exhale is an upcoming women’s basketball drama TV series created by Pam Veasey, which BET & Spectrum Originals ordered straight to series. From Paramount Television Studios, Veasey will executive produce the series through her form L.A.’s Finest collaborators Anton Cropper and Jon Dove, bringing her back to Spectrum after the Bad Boys spinoff was their first scripted original production. Cropper will also direct the TV series. Also executive producing is Bruna Papandrea and Casey Haver for Made Up Stories.

The show was announced on February 9, 2021, with the cast announcement of Rose. There will be twelve episodes in the series. The series, from Paramount Television Studios, will launch first on Spectrum and then on BET after nine months. It is noted that the show is a widowing strategy “is a way to split the costs of producing high-end scripted fare during a time in which many media companies are focusing less on linear networks.”

The show is in development and production in Atlanta, Georgia with filming starting this March 2021. Josh Lucas was announced on February 19, 2021.

What is the Plot of Long Slow Exhale?

A competitive women’s college basketball team head coach, J.C. Abernathy, finds herself in a potentially career-ending sexual abuse scandal. As she tries to find the truth she uncovers, she has to make hard decisions that will affect her, her family, and the team of athletes that rely on her.

PEOPLE DOING YOGA in the Park: Male and Female, ages 18 and over, all ethnicities. fit types who regularly do yoga and have their own yoga mat. Will choose one person to be the yoga ‘instructor’ and a small group of 4 to be the ‘class’.

PAY RATES:

Covid Test: $50

Work Date: $100/10

As a condition of working on set, all talent is required to get a paid Covid-19 test(s) at a production sanctioned testing facility prior to any work date(s). Payment will be paid for each test day. The test performed is a mid-nasal swab. Additional testing may also be done on workdays. While at the test facility and on set, Production requires that a face mask that covers your nose and mouth be worn. Must pass COVID test to work. Even if you test negative, you are not confirmed for work unless we send you details confirming shoot day.

  • CLEANING CREW: Male and Female, all ethnicities ages 18+ to play custodians/cleaning crew at a college weight room

PAY RATES:

Covid Test: $50.00/4

Work Date: $100.00/10
