Lee Daniels' 'EMPIRE' New Casting Call for Thugs in Chicago

FOX’s TV Pilot ‘EMPIRE’ is now casting extras to work on the new Lee Daniels’ project filming in Chicago.

Casting directors posted a casting call looking for background actors to work on the upcoming hip-hop drama, “Empire”. The series centers on the world of a hip-hip empire. To get an idea of what to expect, Terrence Howard was recently cast as the lead role in the series. Howard will play Lucious Lyon, the head of a record label. Lucious is described as charismatic, tough, wise and a superstar in the music industry who oversees Empire Entertainment and is about to take the company public. Raised on the streets, he has never backed away from a fight and will resort to any measures, fair or foul, to defend his beloved Empire. Casting directors are looking for African American actors to portray thugs in a scene filming in Chicago. For more details see the casting call below:
