HBO’s ‘Show Me a Hero’ centers around Mayor Nick Wasicsko who took office in 1987 during Yonkers’ worst crisis when federal courts ordered public housing built in the white, middle class side of town, dividing the city in a bitter battle fueled by fear, racism, murder and politics.

Casting directors are looking for African American boys ages 12 to 18 who can skateboard for the upcoming HBO miniseries ‘Show Me a Hero’.

Seeking Non Union African American Boys ages 12-18 who can skateboard for HBO Miniseries “Show Me A Hero”

Grant Wilfley Casting is currently seeking Non Union African American Boys ages 12-18 who can skateboard for the HBO miniseries “Show Me A Hero”. The scenes will shoot in the Yonkers area tomorrow 10/8. This is a paid role ($115).
