Charlize Theron‘s new movie American Express is looking for new talent to work on scenes filming in Chicago, Illinois.

Charlize Theron’s new movie, American Express, is now casting new talent in Chicago, Illinois. Casting directors are looking for extras to play basketball fans, referees, and mall shoppers.

Filming will take place between Friday, March 11th through Thursday, March 17th in Chicago, Illinois.


About American Express:

Details have not been released but the movie will be produced, financed, and distributed by Amazon Studios. American Express will star David Oyelowo, Joel Edgerton, Amanda Seyfried, and Thandie Newton.

Friday, 3/11 (Chicago):
Basketball Spectators – Office types (with business attire) who go to watch their co-workers play in a game, and then go for drinks afterward – Male/Female, Any Ethnicity, Ages 30 to 60. On this date, production expects that you will work until 2:00AM, so you must be comfortable with late hours.

REAL Basketball Referee – You must include in your submission your experience as a basketball referee, please let us also know what you have for uniform and gear (you may get a $25 bump for supplying your own). Male/Any Ethnicity, Age 28 to 55

Monday, 3/14 (Calumet City):
All the Mall/Employee extras on this date need to have a car to get to the locations in Calumet City

Mall Shoppers – Male/Female, Any Ethnicity, Ages 25 – 60 who look like the live in Los Angeles. We are looking for a few kids, and parents must be able to work with them, and you must submit together.

Valley Footwear Female Employee (think Kristen Schaal),

Female, Caucasian, Age 30s

Churro Hut Employee, Female/Asian/20s, you must be between size 4 and size 6 to fit an outfit that has been pre-ordered.

Fresh Coffee Shop Employees, Male/African American/20s and Female/Hispanic/20s

Food Court Employees, Male/Female, Any Ethnicity, Ages 20s to 30s

Tuesday, 3/15 (Chicago):
Clubbers @ The Well, we are looking for Hollywood types who would going clubbing at The Viper Room, Male/Female, Any Ethnicity, Ages 21 to 38 (if you were already availability checked for this date, you do not need to submit again, you are still in consideration).

If you have wait staff/bartender experience, please let us know in your submission.

Wednesday, 3/16 (Chicago):
Office Workers with Cars and Gold Coaster with Luxury Cars, Female/Male, Any Ethnicity, Ages 20s to 60s – please do not submit for either of these roles if you DO NOT have a vehicle – you will get a $35 bump for use of your car.
