9 Free Movie Scripts Every Actor Should Read

0

Here are movie scripts from this 2016 Oscar season that you should be studying/reading/obsessing over.

Award season is in full swing, that means studios will start sharing scripts for award contenders in hopes of landing a nomination.

For aspiring screenwriters, actors, and filmmakers, the free scripts amount to tons of free material to practice monologues, writing techniques, and visionary works.

In studying scripts, actors can get the chance to learn how writers transformed ideas into pieces of art. The best way to study these scripts would be to first watch each of these films and then read over the screenplays. Then write down how each of the film production departments took an idea and transformed it into a movie.

We will continue to update this list as more movie studios release more and more scripts out to the public. We should remind you that these scripts are only for educational purposes.
