The Filming Location for ‘The Walking Dead’ is for sale on Ebay
Grantville, Georgia is currently on sale on eBay. According to the online auction site, the filming location for The Walking Dead, is now up for sale for $680,000. The listing expires this March 26th so, if you are a die hard Walking Dead fan, grab your credit card and buy a piece of history.
The town really is for sale, former Mayor Grantville Mayor Jim Sells told Atlanta Business Chronicle broadcast partner WXIA-TV’s Ryan Kruger. “Well, downtown is,” Sells added.
Sells explained that nine buildings he bought out of foreclose during the recession are renovated and ready for a new owner. Many of the buildings are occupied, the ad says.
“The hard work has been done,” Sells told Kruger. “We’re looking for somebody to put it all into action.” [via]
