White History Month is now trending on Twitter
Early Wednesday morning, “White History Month” and #HeterosexualPrideDay started trending on Twitter and various social media platform. Needless, to say these comments sparked a lot of controversy.
One Twitter user, Ken Jennings, posted on Twitter saying “shout-out to Father’s Day, the “White History Month” of holidays”
User Kakes posted on Twitter arguing, “White people can’t have white entertainment white history month or all-white colleges or they would be racist right?”
Some Twitter users were confused. Daniel asked the world, “Why isnt there White History Month and National Straight Pride Day?”
But, that didn’t stop others from calling out users promoting White History Month on Twitter.
“We don’t have white history month because 11 months out of the year are white history month,” Twitter user kurtis Schobel posted. Alyssia fired back by saying, “that’s like every year white people saying “why isn’t there a white history month??” because you don’t fucking need one”
