Overall, the trailer gets a sinister tone, with a voice describing the merits of the light and dark sides of the force. Elsewhere in the trailer we get to see X-Wings soaring over a lake, a brief scene of TIE Fighters. Stormtroopers and rebel fights are also scene throughout the trailer, however Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher are all missing from the movie.

The two biggest highlights in the trailer include the appearance of a mysterious Sith towards the end of the trailer, bearing a new kind of lightsaber with a crossguard. Finally, the end of the trailer shows the Millennium Falcom flying over the sands of Tattooine pursued by TIE Fighters.
