AMC has canceled its Walking Dead panel at the upcoming Television Critics Association press tour so the show’s executive producers can attend funeral services for stuntman John Bernecker, according to a statement issued on Thursday.

The panel was supposed to take place on Saturday, when AMC and IFC will present new and returning TV series.

Bernecker died earlier this month after falling from a 25-foot-high balcony while performing a stunt on the Georgia set of The Walking Dead. Production was stopped after the veteran stuntman’s accident, and Bernecker was rushed to Atlanta Medical Center.

Bernecker worked as a stuntman for 8 years. His filmography includes over 90 credits as a stuntman including a role in 2017’s Logan. He has also worked on The Hunger Games, 24: Legacy and Black Panther.
