The upcoming seventh movie of the Transformers franchise, directed by Steven Caple Jr., will be the first without Michael Bay’s involvement. Between Bumblebee and Bay’s films, it will include popular Autobots like Optimus Prime and Bumblee and introduce new characters, such as Terrorcons, and Predacons.

The trailer puts the new characters in the spotlight, with Optimus Primal as the leader of the Maximals. Ron Perlman is voicing Optimus Primal. There are also glimpses of Optimus Prime, Peter Cullen’s character, and shots of scene-stealing beasts. Arcee makes a cameo at the end – she was a scout on Cybertron before everything went down.

Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, Tobe Nwigwe, Peter Dinklage, Michelle Yeoh, Liza Koshy, John DiMaggio, and David Sobolov star alongside Perlman and Cullen. At the same time, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Pete Davidson, and Cristo Fernández make up the rest of the cast.

The official teaser trailer for Transformers: Rise of the Beasts movie will premiere in theaters on June 9, 2023.
