Warner Bros. execs met with Ezra Miller to discuss the future of ‘The Flash.’

Recently, Ezra Miller, the non-binary actor who plays the lead in The Flash movie franchise, met with Warner Bros. executives to discuss their future following a string of arrests and controversies in recent years. Earlier this month, Miller issued a public apology to fans and vowed to commit to any measures necessary to address their mental health issues.

Miller and their agent, Scott Metzger, have been meeting on the Burbank lot lately with new “chairs Michael De Luca and Pamela Abdy to discuss how to stay on course for The Flash’s June 23, 2023, debut date,” according to Deadline. To continue, Miller needed to reaffirm its dedication to the project and apologize for the bad publicity generated by its issues.

After De Luca and Abdy considered scrapping the $200 million film, The Flash lead vowed to seek help. While details of the meeting have not been revealed, it was likely the first between the actor and new Warner Bros. heads. Warner Bros has not committed to canceling or going ahead with The Flash for its June 2023 release – stay tuned as the story develops.
