Actor quits working on ‘The Crow‘ remake days before filming was expected to start.

Back in March, it was announced that ‘Boardwalk Empire’ star Jack Huston was tapped to take on the role of Eric Draven in the remake of ‘The Crow’. In April, news broke out that the producers have found their villian, and everything looked like everything was going as planned.

Variety now reports that the search for another Eric Draven is in the works, as Jack Huston just dropped out of the movie due to scheduling issues:

“Jack Huston is unfortunately unavailable to continue with us on ‘The Crow,’” said director Corin Hardy in a statement. “‘The Crow’ is an amazing project, and I am grateful that we have the time and patience to get it right. We look forward to unveiling our new lead and starting to film over the next several weeks.”

Reports suggest that casting directors are looking at Nicholas Hoult and Jack O’Connell as possible replacements to fill the role Brandon Lee made famous over twenty years ago.

Jack Huston is a busy man he will appear in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and he is set to star in the upcoming Ben-Hur remake.
