Storytelling comes in many various forms. It could come in the form of spoken word, through written word, or through the art of film making. Some of the best story tellers start their journey as a director or film maker working on many independent projects before joining the ranks of George Clooney, and Darren Arronofsky.

Now industry professionals are setting up one of the best opportunities for aspiring film makers. The International Black Film Festival is a festival originally established in 2006, where aspiring industry professionals have the opportunity to showcase their work.

The International Black Film Festival of Nashville features the internationally recognized actor/director/choreographer, Debbie Allen. She also serves as a member of the prestigious President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities, a Board Member of the American Film Institute, and an Executive Committee member of UCLA’s School of Theater, Film, and Television (IBFF).
