Isaacson’s biography is being adapted for a movie developed by Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network) and directed by Danny Boyle. The upcoming movie will focus on Jobs’ relationship with seven other characters, including cofounder Steve Wozniak, former CEO John Sculley and Joanna Hoffman, Apple’s original head of Mac marketing. Michael Fassbender will portray Jobs and Seth Rogen will star as Steve Wozniak. While Sony Pictures initially acquired the rights to the book from author Walter Isaacson, it later withdrew from the project, with Universal Studios picking up the film a week later. The upcoming ‘Steve Jobs‘ movie centers around the 3 product launches of Apple in the 1980s and 1990s.
