Harrison Ford out eight weeks but filming is expected to continue

Harrison Ford is expected to miss eight weeks of filming on Star Wars: Episode VII after the actor broke his ankle on set, according to reports from The Hollywood Reporter

Harrison Ford was taken to a hospital after he injured his ankle last Thursday, but shoot is expected to continue despite the lead actor’s injury.

Harrison Ford will return to his legendary role of Han Solo, in the upcoming Star Wars sequel. The actor was injured by the door of the Millennium Falcon, the spacecraft the character used in the original films.

Star Wars: Episode VII features  John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong’o and Max von Sydow. Along with the original cast,Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker.
