FX Network’s ‘Sons of Anarchy’ Broke Records with Final Season Premiere

Sons of Anarchy looks like it is going out in a bang. The premiere episode of FX’s ‘Sons of Anarchy‘ aired last night and along with horrifying torture scenes, and prison fights, the latest series had its biggest ratings ever.

Last night’s premiere episode had a record breaking 6.2 million viewers for the biker drama, the most the series has ever seen. The premiere also hit the key demographic with 4.2 million fans looking to see Jax Teller get revenge on the town that betrayed him.

Sons of Anarchy’s last season is really heading into the dark side. Everyone expected the final season to be a big deal but, last night’s premiere beat everyone’s expectations. If the numbers continue to hold, Season 7 will make ‘Sons of Anarchy‘ the most-watched season of a FX series ever.
