‘Snowfall’ Is Now The Most Watched Program On FX, And Star Damson Idris Honors John Singleton With A Tribute.

When John Singleton made his FX series Snowfall, he boasted that he wanted it to be the “ghetto version” of Game of Thrones. He’s already there. As the fifth season of Snowfall continues to climb in popularity, actress Damson Idris claims that it is now the “most-watched show” on all FX networks. According to Idris, even “bootlegging” can’t stop the show from bringing in millions of viewers each week (set against the real-life ’80s crack epidemic).

In addition to the news that Snowfall has taken over for FX, Idris included a shoutout to Singleton for bringing the show to life.

“Snowfall is officially FX networks most-watched show and that is thanks to you guys, the fans,” Idris tweeted. “Nearly 5 million viewers a week. Not to mention yall that be bootlegging. I see you ????. Nonetheless, thank you to everyone for riding with us. It’s all for John Singleton. ❤️”
