The Rock is back with director Brady Peyton. The director and A-List actor worked on the hit movie, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, this time the duo has teamed up for a new movie about earthquakes.

We recently posted several casting calls for the San Andreas movie a few months ago. Now the trailer has hit the Internet and it looks adventurously amazing.

After the infamous San Andreas Fault finally gives, triggering a magnitude 9 earthquake in California, a search and rescue helicopter pilot (Dwayne Johnson) and his estranged wife (Carla Gugino) make their way together from Los Angeles to San Francisco to save their only daughter.

But their treacherous journey north is only the beginning. And when they think the worst may be over…it’s just getting started.

Alexandra Daddario (True Detective Season 1) and Paul Giamatti co-star in the upcoming apocalyptic thriller. San Andreas hits theaters on May 29th, and it looks like it is going to be action packed!
