Rami Malek is reportedly in final talks to play a villain in the next Bond movie.

According to reports, Malek’s team was able to successfully negotiate his shooting schedules for both the movie and the final season of “Mr. Robot.” While no details about his character have been released, his villain role has been rumored to be a blind villain. The movie will be the series’ 25th production and will be directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga with Lea Seydoux, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, and Ralph Fiennes reprise their roles. Bond 25 is Daniel Craig’s fifth and expectedly last time playing 007.

Bond 25 is set to hit theaters on April 8, 2020.

Rami Malek has come a long way from delivering pizzas to get noticed as an actor. As he told People, “I used to tape my headshot and résumé to pizza boxes, and if anyone seemed even remotely involved in the industry, I was taping them up and sending them out for years.”

Malek continued, “I was dying to get a role as an actor. This is more extraordinary than I could ever have expected in my life . . . I never thought I would be in a position to have one of my boxes on-camera, on television, have my face next to all of those extraordinary actors.”
