Nicolas Cage Confirms to Warner Bros. He Wants to Play the Villain in ‘The Batman’ Sequel, Egghead

Nicolas Cage is a well-known American actor who starred in many successful films. On January 7, 1964, he was born in Long Beach, California. Cage’s family is of Irish and Italian descent.

Cage made his film debut in the 1981 drama film “Valley Girl.” He rose to fame with his role in the 1995 action film “Leaving Las Vegas”, for which he won an Academy Award for Best Actor. Some of Cage’s other popular films include “The Rock,” “National Treasure”, and “Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans.”

Cage is a well-known actor, but he is also a successful producer. He has produced several films, including “The Wicker Man” and “Lord of War”. Cage is also a big fan of comic books. He has even written and starred in a few films based on comics, such as “Kick-Ass” and “Ghost Rider”.

Now, Nicolas Cage wants to play a villain in The Batman sequel.If this is true, Nicolas Cage’s next career move might be to join the world of DC Comics.

 

In a statement to Warner Bros. executives, In a recent interview, Cage was asked if he wanted to return as the antagonist Egghead in a potential sequel to Matt Reeves’ The Batman. Although a sequel has not yet been announced, Cage is already preparing. In the interview, Cage talked about the upcoming release saying: “We have this new [movie with] Robert Pattinson as The Batman, which I’m excited to see. I haven’t seen it yet, but I think he would be terrific.”

 

About playing Egghead, he stated: “The villain that Vincent Price played on the 1960s show, Egghead, I think I want to have a go at Egghead. I think I can make him terrifying. And I have a concept for Egghead. So let them know over at Warner Bros., I’m down for Egghead.”

 

Egghead, in the comics, is a bald genius criminal known to be one of the world’s most intelligent individuals. Cage stated that he would like to provide the new Egghead with a “frightening” new persona if given a chance.

 

The Batman is now available to view in theatres all over the world.
