Madame Tussaud wants people to stop humping Nicki Minaj’s wax statue.

The wax figure – a tribute to Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” video – features the rapper on her hands and knees, with her butt high in the air. Since its early August debut at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, the pose has caused for visitors of the museum to post sexually explicit pictures with Wax Nicki on social media.

Nicki Minaj has reposted some of those photos on her own pages.

But Madam Tussauds says this must stop and released a statement about plans to stop such behavior.

Many people are not too happy with Madame Tussauds. One Twitter user wrote: ‘They just making a mockery outta black woman I’m sick of it. Outta all poses they choose this to represent Nicki.’

Madame Tussauds has now apologised, saying: ‘Madame Tussauds attractions are interactive, immersive experiences, and out guests are usually respectful towards the wax figures.

‘It’s unfortunate that this visitor chose to behave so inappropriately and we apologise for any offence caused.

‘We do have staff monitoring guest behaviour in the attraction and do our utmost to ensure the wax figures are treated respectfully, but on this occasion, clearly one of our hosts was not present.

‘We are taking immediate steps to ensure more staff are present in this area and that the set around this particular figure is redesigned so that a picture like this cannot be taken again.’
