Netflix is launching a captivating new docuseries following three quarterbacks from the 2022 NFL season. Get ready to join these competitors on their thrilling journeys as you are taken behind the scenes for an exclusive look into their lives and stories.
Get ready to watch the 2022 NFL season take center stage with Quarterback, a brand new docuseries created by NFL Films and Netflix. Follow three-star quarterbacks – Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs, Kirk Cousins from the Minnesota Vikings, and Marcus Mariota of the Atlanta Falcons – as they battle through their upcoming campaign!
Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions and the newly created 2 PM Productions by Mahomes will join with NFL Films to deliver a series that marks the first union between Netflix and the National Football League.
“I’m excited for fans to get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at an unforgettable season for the entire Chiefs organization and for my family,” in a statement released by Mahomes. “From welcoming home a new baby in the middle of the season to welcoming the Lombardi trophy back to Kansas City, our crew was there for it all. This new Netflix series will show the time, preparation, and balance it takes to be an NFL quarterback and perform on the biggest stage.”
Mahomes’ accomplishments this season were extraordinary, as he achieved his second consecutive MVP title and led the Chiefs to their second Super Bowl victory in four years. The Vikings, led by Cousins, made a triumphant exit as the NFC North divisional champions; however, their first playoff game was unsuccessful. On the contrary, Mariota played 13 games for his new team – The falcons- before being sidelined due to an unfortunate knee injury in the second half of the season.
