Netflix is Creating a Live-Action My Hero Academia!

Netflix is creating an incredible live-action adaptation of the beloved anime series, My Hero Academia! Get ready to witness your favorite characters jump off the screen and take life in this highly anticipated feature film.

Joining forces with Legendary Entertainment and Toho, they formed a powerful collaboration.

Netflix has officially declared that a live-action adaptation of My Hero Academia is underway! As part of their announcement, they shared that Legendary Entertainment will be aiding them in making this movie. This project promises to bring an exciting cinematic experience to fans and newcomers alike with its captivating storyline and breathtaking visuals.

Shinsuke Sato, known for his work in Alice in Borderland, will direct and executive produce the live-action adaptation of the manga/anime. At the same time, Joby Harold from Obi-Wan Kenobi is responsible for writing it. Toho will be handling distribution in Japan when it releases to theaters.
