MAX Excites Fans with In-Production Teaser for Highly Anticipated Spinoff ‘The Penguin’ from the Upcoming Batman Movie
Anticipation has been building since early last year when news broke of The Penguin development. A teaser for the heavily-awaited MAX (formerly HBO Max) spinoff series based on The Batman is officially in production. The upcoming series will further explore the world of The Penguin, continuing in the same universe established by Matt Reeves’ 2022 film.
Collin Farrell stars as Oswald Cobblepot, the determined kingpin who seeks to take over Gotham’s criminal underworld after Salvatore Maroni’s passing. Offering an exclusive glimpse into the production process, this behind-the-scenes look puts on display Keanu Reeves’ ongoing commitment to the distinctive style of darkness as Executive Producer. Accompanying Farrell is Cristin Milioti as Carmine Falcone’s daughter Sofia, Michael Zegen as his son Alberto, and Clancy Brown playing Salvatore Maroni.
During Warner Bros. Discovery’s announcement of their rebranding and showcase of forthcoming content, the in-process teaser for The Penguin was unveiled to wide acclaim. At the presentation, we were enticed with teasers of Detective: Night Country, The Regime, The Sympathizer, and more.
