‘The Leisure Seeker’ Starring Helen Mirren Now Filming Atlanta

The Leisure Seeker starring Helen Mirren and Donald Sutherland is now filming in Atlanta, Georgia.

It looks as though Georgia has another movie to add to their growing film industry as Helen Mirren’s new movie, Leisure Seeker will film in Atlanta, Georgia.

According to Deadline, Helen Mirren and Donald Sutherland are teaming for The Leisure Seeker, a road movie about a retired couple who embark on an adventure in a Winnebago. The movie is based on a novel by Michael Zadoorian.

Francesca Archibugi and Francesco Piccolo wrote the screenplay in collaboration with Stephen Amidon and Virzi. Fabrizio Donvito, Benedetto Habib, and Marco Cohen produce for Indiana Production, with Alessandro Mascheroni, Daniel Campos Pavoncelli and Dov Mamann serving as exec producers.

Helen Mirren is most famous for Academy Award winning role as The Queen in 2006 and the upcoming Fast 8 feature film.

Donald Sutherland is most known for his role in The Hunger Games as President Snow.
