Lady Gaga’s Music Sales Increase Over 1,000% After the Super Bowl

Lady Gaga’s sales surged over 1,000 percent following her Super Bowl halftime show.

According to Nielsen Music, Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl halftime show performance may have reignited her singing career. Based on initial sales, the singer sold 150,000 albums and songs in the U.S. on Sunday. That is an increase of more than 1,000% to the previous day when she sold approximately 15,000 digital albums.

On Sunday, Gaga sold over 125,000 songs, up around 960% compared to the previous day. Her biggest selling song was “Million Reasons,” which sold more than 45,000 downloads.

Analysts expect Gaga’s music career to continue to surge following her Super Bowl halftime performance.

Lady Gaga played some of her biggest songs of her career on Super Bowl Sunday including Born This Way, Bad Romance and Poker Face.
