The Jurassic Park franchise’s worst Rotten Tomatoes score was recently achieved by the film Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom, with only a 38% positive response from critics and 141 reviews. The majority of critics felt negatively toward the ultimate film, according to those who have seen it. Scott Menzel, the producer of We Live Entertainment, was vocal on Twitter about his disappointment with the film. He told fans that he had been let down by it, “It brings me no joy to report that Jurassic World Dominion is a MASSIVE disappointment. While the film does feature some incredible dinosaur sequences, and it is great to see the original cast back on the big screen the film fails to deliver on what the previous films promise.” Fellow film critic Courtney Howards also expressed her disappointment, going as far as claiming that this was the “worst of the franchise.”

While the film was under assault for its negative aspects, Erik Davis from Fandango saved it with a positive review, calling it his “favorite” of the Jurassic trilogy. He praised Goldblum’s return and the “innovative ideas” that kept audiences on their toes. See some of the early reactions to Jurassic World: Dominion below.

Jurassic Park: Dominion will be released in movie theaters on June 10.
