If booking a role is not hard enough, it is even tougher for actors to keep their jobs in the long run.

In the newly picked up TV show, NBC‘s “Bad Judge” producers are asked to recast two roles played in the pilot by Mather Zickel (I Love You Man) and Arden Myrin (Mad TV). According to Deadline, the two characters on NBC’s Bad Judge are expected to be reworked on the show. The television series recently added Liz Brizius as the show runner on the television series and stars Kate Walsh as a wild child who knows how to have a good time while also being one of the toughest judges in Los Angeles.

Mather Zickel played Gary in the television series, a psychiatrist who has an on-again, off-again relationship with Rebecca. Myrin played Jenny, Rebbecca’s best friend and listener to all of the crazy gossip and romantic news.

In addition to NBC, the CW drama iZombie will be replacing Alexandra Krosney (Last Man Standing). The CW Network’s iZombie comes from Warner Bros. Television and centers on a supernatural crime drama that centers on a med student turned zombie who takes a job at a coroner’s office and ends up solving homicide cases.

But, these two shows are not the only shows that big networks are recasting, The Odd Couple and NBC’s Mission Control are also recasting roles.

Just as you think that you are set for a recurring role on a television series, you may never know when executives may not like what they see.
