Idris Elba reveals that being famous is great but it is making him suspicious of everyone.

Depending upon who you ask, being famous or a celebrity is amazing. It is filled with huge perks such as free stuff, adoring fans, and the ability to do basically whatever you want. However, if you ask Kristen Stewart it’s “bullsh*t”. But, Stewart is not alone in feeling fame comes with a price tag.

Idris Elba revealed that he feels that he might be trapped in a Truman Show scenario. From The Mirror:

“You know The Truman Show? Sometimes you’re not sure what’s real or not, especially when it comes to relationships. If you’re adored by millions, sometimes even on your own front doorstep you can become paranoid and constantly question, ‘Who is he? Who is she? I know I’ve been guilty of it in the past.”

Idris Elba believes that people like him because he’s a “down-to-earth” kind of guy. But, I tend to think it is his amazing acting skills and his ability to stay out of negative publicity.

Idris Elba just finished playing Nelson Mandela in Mandela: A Long Walk to Freedom and had to go to work on the upcoming feature film, Avengers: Age of Ultron.
