According to the Cobb County Police Department, the manager of Icebox Jewelry in Atlanta, and his wife were the victim of a home invasion robbery in their Georgia home. The incident was accompanied by the burglary of the jewelry store in Atlanta, Georgia.
According to reports, on Saturday at around 9:30 p.m. the store manager was followed home by armed robbers. He and his wife were forced into their house by masked gunmen, who tied them up and took the keys to the jewelry store.
One suspect took the keys to the store and left to meet accomplices and burglarize the store. The other gunman took jewelry and cash from home and left the residence with the couple still tied up. There were no injuries.
The Atlanta Police Department is investigating the burglary at the store. Cobb County Police Department is investigating the home invasion and working with the Atlanta Police Department.
