“I Kill Pleasure”, Philip Seymour Hoffman Discusses Happiness in Unheard Interview [VIDEO]

0

Philip Seymour Hoffman reflects on happiness, life, and his children in this unheard interview.

This animated video of Philip Seymour Hoffman discussing his thoughts on happiness, life, and being with his family is something you have to see. Hoffman’s words are moving and were released as part of PBS Digital Studio‘s “Blank on Blank” series. His words are really touching especially since the actor’s drug overdose earlier this year.

“I would definitely not say pleasure is not happiness,” Philip Seymour Hoffman explains, “I think I kill pleasure. Like I take too much of it and therefore, make it unpleasurable…there is no pleasure I haven’t actually made myself sick on.”

Philip Seymour Hoffman gives some philosophical insights on his life and life itself. Even after he has passed away, he leaves us with something to think about.
