Hugh Jackman Diagnosed with Skin Cancer for a Third Time this Year

Hugh Jackman was treated for skin cancer for a third time in a year.

Hugh Jackman has been fighting a yearlong battle with skin cancer. Wolverine was recent treated for his third basal cell carcinoma in the past 12 months. His rep told E! News that the procedure went well and that Hugh Jackman is currently “all good.”

Hugh Jackman has revealed that he used to spend a lot of time outdoors as a kid without protection from the sun.

The actor previously had cancer cells removed in November 2013 and then again this May. On October 27th, Jackman posted a photo on Instagram that contained the title of Baz Luhrmann’s song “Everybody’s Free (To Wear Sunscreen).” Jackman added the words, “SUNSCREEN!”

Hugh Jackman is currently working on the upcoming Broadway play, The River.
