After four seasons of ground-breaking television, HBO’s critically acclaimed series ‘Succession‘ is coming to a close.

Jesse Armstrong declared that HBO’s Succession’s fourth season would be it’s last. This final stretch will bring about unforgettable stories and captivating moments, making this an event you won’t want to miss!

In an interview with the New Yorker, the series creator and executive producer emphatically confirmed the news: “The process has been a bit of a battle. Surprisingly, I felt rather anxious during our conversation as this all feels quite theoretical until now; for multiple reasons, I’ve attempted to keep it that way.” He explained, “While I’m not sure of the psychological reasons behind it all, creatively speaking, they felt that delaying their final decision was advantageous. After all, there’s something special in the title ‘Succession’–I never thought this could last forever.”

Armstrong noted that he is anticipating the show’s conclusion and getting ready for the feeling of desolation after engaging in a project like this. “I feel sad, and I have a the-circus-has-left-town feeling that everyone gets who works on a good production, and this one particularly so,” he admitted. “I imagine I’ll be a little bit lonely, wandering the streets of London in a funk and wondering, What the f*ck did I do? I’ll probably call you in about six months to ask if people are ready for a reboot.”

As season four of Waystar Royco approaches, viewers will discover if Alexander Skarsgård’s Lukas Matsson succeeded in acquiring the company. It is also likely that fans will finally get to know who the new CEO of the business shall be – that too, depending on whether it makes its way through with this acquisition or not.

Premiering in 2018, the series boasts an all-star cast including Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, Alan Ruck, Matthew Macfadyen, Nicholas Braun, and J. Smith-Cameron – proving to be a real hit amongst viewers and critics alike! Evidenced by its countless awards, such as Golden Globe Awards and Emmys for both show and actors, this product should not be missed!

Take advantage of the season four premiere of Succession on HBO, premiering on March 26th!

Unfortunately, David Fincher confirmed the bitter news that hit fans hard – Mindhunter would not be given a third season.
