Guardians of the Galaxy 2 director has just finished filming the latest movie in the Marvel franchise in Atlanta, Georgia. But, before he leaves the Peach State, James Gunn, had some kind words for the men and women in Atlanta, Georgia.

The first Guardians of the Galaxy featured Chris Pratt, Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana and Vin Diesel. It would later become a box office hit making nearly $775 million dollars worldwide. The release of Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on May 5, 2017. Details surrounding the new Guardians of the Galaxy movie have not been revealed.
