The cast of the female version of ‘Ghostbusters’ visited a Children’s Hospital in full costume.

In between fighting ghosts and memorizing lines for the very-much-talked-about reboot, the cast of Paul Feig’s version of ‘Ghostbusters’ spent their Saturday making some sick kids super happy.

Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones brought their smiles, charm, and ghost fighting proton packs to the Floating Hospital for Children in Boston, according to the the Tufts Medical Center Facebook page.

“They were a true delight to have today,” said Brooke Hynes, Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications for Tufts Medical Center. “They were so kind to all the kids and their parents. They took their time in each room visiting children as young as a few months to teens. We cannot thank them enough for the happiness and excitement they created.” (Via WCVB)

Paul Feig’s new version of the 1985 classic ‘Ghostbusters’ movie has been filming in Boston for the past few weeks, allowing for several aspiring actors to audition for background and speaking roles in Boston.

The director of the ‘Ghostbusters’ reboot has been tweeting teaser images of the new versions of updated costumes and gear. While this was a great way to promote the upcoming reboot, it was also a generous act.
