Get ready because that all-male ‘Ghostbusters‘ movie is actually happening.

Last year it was revealed that the producers were interested in creating a spin-off of the ‘Ghostbusters’ series. The entire world rejoiced. It was reported that both Rebel Wilson, Jennifer Lawrence, and Emma Stone were all approached for a role in the reboot. But, all of those actors would drop out of the production creating a ‘Ghostbusters’ team of Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon in January 2015.

But, when North Korean hackers supposedly hacked Sony, it was revealed that producers were also planning a ‘Ghostbusters’ remake with Channing Tatum and Chris Pratt. Now, according to reports, it’s officially happening.

Ghostbusters Channing Tatum

Earlier this week, Channing Tatum was either fired or quit working on Marvel’s ‘Gambit’ but, according to these new reports, he may have found his next movie.

From Vulture:

Screenwriter Drew Pearce told MTV that he’s just finished a draft of the script for the Russo Brothers, and now it’s just a matter of finding four funny dudes to break the gender barrier and prove that, no matter what anyone might say, men can be Ghostbusters, too.

The female ‘Ghostbusters’ reboot is currently filming in Boston. To audition for a background extra role on the upcoming ‘Ghostbusters’ movie, check out the latest casting calls here.
