Rebel Wilson met with Ghostbusters 3 director, Paul Feig about a leading role
Rebel Wilson (Pitch Perfect) is in discussion to star in ‘Ghostbusters 3’. During Wednesday’s Today show, Rebel Wilson revealed that she met with the Bridesmaids director Paul Feig about his upcoming all-female Ghostbusters movie.

“Look, I have had a meeting, but who knows?” Wilson said. “They have to look at the script when it’s finished.”
Rebel Wilson co-stars in Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb and Pitch Perfect 2 which will hit theaters on Christmas Day and 2015, respectively.

Matt Lauer asked Wilson if she was offered the “money truck” for Ghostbusters.
“I would even do that without the money truck,” she replied. “I’d do that for free. I probably shouldn’t say that live on TV.”
Feig announced that he is teaming up with The Heat screenwriter Katie Dippold on a reboot of the 1984 classic. Rumors have circulated as to who might star in the movie. It is rumored that X-Files actress, Gillian Anderson is among the performers who have publicly announced interest in a role in the movie.
