Jason Statham is coming back to the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise.
The ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise is growing faster and faster with every new installment. What started out as a movie about Vin Diesel and Paul Walker racing around California has transformed into an international action series about saving the world with the help of Ludacris, Tyrese and The Rock.
According to reports, Jason Statham revealed that he will be back for ‘Furious 8’ to shoot bigger guns and drive even faster cars.
‘Furious 7’ grossed $397.6 million worldwide in its first five days of release, which is the third highest-grossing opening of all time. The film has grossed over $1.5 billion worldwide, making it the highest-grossing film in the franchise after just twelve days, the highest-grossing film of 2015 and the fourth highest-grossing film of all time. An eighth film is scheduled to be released on April 14, 2017.
