Fuller House may have more viewers and higher ratings than The Walking Dead

Averaging 14.4 million viewers in its first 35 days, Fuller House had more viewers than The Walking Dead.

According to data pulled by Symphony Advanced Media (via Indiewire), Fuller House had an average of 14.4 million adult viewers between the ages of 18 and 49 during its first 35 days on Netflix, equating to a 10.4 rating. When comparing that to Indiewire’s television rankings for the 2015-2016 season, Fuller House tops the list as the most popular series of the year.

However, it’s important to keep in mind that Netflix released all 13 episodes of Fuller House at once which helps skew the ratings in their favor. That being said, within the first alone, it’s pretty incredible to bring in 10 million viewers, putting it just behind The Walking Dead’s 9.6 average rating and approximately 12.1 million viewers.

In addition, Netflix and other streaming services like Amazon Prime don’t release official viewership numbers, so Symphony’s research data cannot be definitely confirmed. In fact, Netflix exec Ted Sarandos has gone so far as to call the company’s information “really remarkably inaccurate data” in the past. However, it’s the only data that’s currently available to go on.

Fuller House made its Netflix debut in February and has already been renewed.
