Ludovic Boumbas died after jumping in front of a bullet to protect a woman in a French restaurant on Friday.
He was at his friend’s 35th birthday party, who also died along with her sister.
Today, his friends paid tribute to Boumbas by calling him a ‘hero,’ according to Daily Mail.
‘Ludo threw himself forward to protect a girl and took the bullet.
‘She was also shot, but she survived and is in hospital.
‘He loved travelling the world and above all he loved people. He was just one of life’s good, good people. He didn’t stand a chance.’
The cafe became a bloodbath after bullets rained him from terrorists during Friday night’s massacre.
Survivors were forced to help the wounded as restaurant transformed into a makeshift “emergency room”.
French medics were so overwhelmed with victims, paramedics were forced to choose who would live or die by guessing which victims were more likely to survive after the shooting.
