Here are the movies and TV shows now filming in Louisiana.

The film industry in Louisiana grew largely due to the 2002 tax incentives that were aimed at attracting film and television companies. By 2006, over 300 films have been shot in Louisiana.

The state gained international attention when The Curious Case of Benjamin Button earned thirteen Oscar nominations. By 2011, Louisiana hosted more than 150 productions and $1.3 billion dollars of combined budgets were spent in the state.

Recently, Gov. Bobby Jindal ended the elaborate film and tax incentives. New legislation signed by Louisiana’s Gov. Bobby Jindal effectively puts limits to the state’s production tax incentive program, which will probably stop major movies from filming in the state formerly known as the Hollywood of the South, according to Variety.

However, it has not stopped producers from filming in New Orleans and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Here is the complete list of movies and TV shows now filming in Louisiana.
