Extras Upgraded to Speaking Roles on Set of the ‘Halloween’ Sequel

Background actors were upgraded to speaking roles on the set of the new Halloween sequel.

Last week, Tona B. Dahlquist casting announced 3 background actors were upgraded to speaking roles. In the social media post, she said, “MOB RULES -Very happy to announce 3 EXTRAS WERE UPGRADED TO SPEAKING ROLES on Friday! Congrats to Angie, Drew and Niamoni!”

About ‘Halloween Kills’:

According to reports, the sequel to “Halloween”, “Halloween Kills”, is now filming under the production title “Mob Rules”. “Halloween Kills” is set to be the sequel to the 2018 movie which saw the return of Jamie Lee Curtis. David Gordon Green is returning to helm Halloween Kills as well as the third installment, Halloween Ends.

Universal and Blumhouse’s Halloween reboot movie opened to $76.2 million. It is the highest opening in the franchise’s history. The film ended up earning over $255 million globally and $159 million in the U.S. on a budget in the $10 million range.
