Donald Trump called a “racist” after retweeting false statistics that claim most white people are killed by black people.

Donald Trump retweeted numbers on murders committed by black people. The Republican presidential candidate was branded “racist” by critics on Twitter after re-tweeted the fake crime stats, which wrongly state that most murders of black and white people are committed by black men and women.

Dozens of people responded by pointing out that those numbers are wrong, but the “source” the Crime Statistics Bureau – San Francisco does not even exist.

According to official statistics by the FBI in 2014, 82% of murders with white victims were committed by white people, far higher than what Donald Trump posted on Twitter.

Meanwhile, less than 15% of white murder victims were killed by black people.

The real numbers also show that more than 7% of black murder victims are killed by  white people. And 90% of black murder victims are killed by black people.

It is important to point out that the tweet was originally posted on Saturday by Twitter users @CheesedBrit, whose Twitter profile picture is a neo-Nazi logo.

Hundreds of people spotted Donald Trump‘s tweet and called him “Racist” including, NY Daily News reporter, Shaun King saying: “he is the most racist, offensive presidential candidate in modern American history… and he’s in the lead.”

Whether we like it or not, the horrific white supremacy of Donald Trump is a reflection of a very real portion of America.

Worse than David Duke, he is the most racist, offensive presidential candidate in modern American history… and he’s in the lead.

This news comes as Donald Trump called out the Black Lives Movement protestor who was assaulted by Trump supporters last week. “Maybe he should have been roughed up, because it was absolutely disgusting what he was doing,” Trump said on the Fox News Channel on Sunday morning. “I have a lot of fans, and they were not happy about it. And this was a very obnoxious guy who was a trouble-maker who was looking to make trouble.”

The Republican primary is 70 days away and Donald Trump is in a double digit lead against his opponents, according to a recent Washington Post poll.
